A Guide To Using The DeviantART Chat RoomsI asked my evil friend =Evil-e33 to help me write a nifty guide to using the Chat Rooms on DeviantART. I did all the work and she poked me repeatedly in the left arm (which is now bruised) and came up with witty one liners that make me look foolish.

Want to Topple the Government?This is for all of you that want to overthrow the US government and who think the best way to go about this is to launch an attack on buildings, infrastructure or targeted assassinations. In particular, I want to address people who think the time for these activities is right now. The intention of this is to illustrate why this is a bad idea and to propose an alternate path.
First of all, I know how you guys feel. You see your government taking away your rights one at a time, you see the jaws of the police state closing down around you, and you see them using your hard-earned tax dollars to line the pockets of the wealthiest scumbags on the planet. It enrages you. The line isn't about to be crossed, it was crossed a long time ago.

Its been a bit of a loopy year of Thorns and we cannot thank her enough for her time. We know full well she isn't going to fall into that mysterious sinkhole that some former volunteers go into and her heart will still be within the community!

This week's featured deviant is *abstract1106. I took a small biography from her deviantID to use here as a sort of mini-introduction-- I'm a problogger and online content consultant. I interview people for podcasts, create websites and consult for tech startups and nonprofits. When I'm done with my work day, I write tons of fiction.
So, you're a problogger. What exactly does that entail?

Plz accounts at deviantART are mostly inactive accounts that individuals create just to use the avatar. People can use these "plz" avatars in their text at deviant art by typing the following code:

Here's an example using ~FreeAvatarProject's avatar:

So now you know how to insert an avatar into your text. However, a few avatars were designed together to make a larger graphic. Just add the icon codes next to each other without spaces. Here's an example:

See above how ~YouArePlz and ~AllowedPlz are combined into one graphic? Neat, eh? Here's another:

Now that you see ~DoNotUsePlz and ~MyArtPlz side-by-side to make a graphic wider, you should know that other plz icons may be designed to stack matching icons to make them taller, in which case simply add the lower icons below the top icons without spaces:

Please note that none of this information was intended to encourage anyone to go on a spamming spree. Emoticons and avatars are nice little ways to express ourselves, but they can get annoying when issued in bulk. Please use common sense:
